**Cognizant is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time opportunity in Ottawa, ON.** **About the role** As a Data Center Technician, you will make an impact by ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and fixing of data center infrastructure. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Digital Support Services team. **In this role, you will:** + Install and configure hardware components such as servers, routers, and switches + Work on the installation and upgrade of IOS, OS, ESXi. + Help to replicate or build configurations based on customer requirement. + Install and network of Managed Power Distribution Unites mPDUs + Cable management, including running, organizing, topology clean-up, and labelling network cables + Solving and Break Fix Tasks + Conduct basic diagnostics to identify hardware issues. + Network debugging, tracking layer 1 to 3 issues. + Router, Switch, installation and Upgrade experience. + Rack & Stack, PDU installation experience. **At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
