Data Center Technician
Join a dynamic team supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced data center environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation and a hands-on approach to hardware, cabling, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Hardware Installation & Configuration + Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, and other network devices + Set up and configure hardware components according to specifications Troubleshooting & Break-Fix + Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues + Provide smart hands support for remote teams + Perform decommissioning of cables and active gear Preventative Maintenance & Upgrades + Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance + Assist with hardware upgrades and replacements as needed Monitoring & Documentation + Use monitoring tools to track system performance and identify issues + Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes, and tasks Safety & Compliance + Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills + Experience with rack-and-stack procedures + Proficiency in troubleshooting servers, routers, and switches + Familiarity with structured cabling and decommissioning practices + Understanding of data center infrastructure and hardware Soft Skills + Strong communication skills in English + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and professional email etiquette + Ability to work collaboratively and follow detailed instructions Physical Requirements + Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment as needed Additional Strengths + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills + Attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
