We are seeking an experienced Project Controller with a proven track record of managing large-scale data center projects in Europe or similar developed markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mission-critical construction environments and demonstrate strong project coordination and document management capabilities.
The successful candidate must be self-directed, organized, and dedicated, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deliver results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and clients are essential.
Key RequirementsProven experience managing documentation and project controls for large-scale data center projects
Experience with mission-critical construction industry standards and practices
Proficiency in ACONEX or similar document management platforms
Strong understanding of project workflow structures and management processes
Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors on technical documentation
Ability to generate comprehensive project reports covering design status, RFPs, RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings
Primary ResponsibilitiesProject Documentation Management
Implement comprehensive document management procedures aligned with company IMS standards
Control, administer, and verify accuracy of all incoming and outgoing project documents including submittals, transmittals, specifications, drawings, and correspondence
Coordinate receipt, distribution, and tracking of documents to ensure compliance with project procedures
Establish and maintain centralized, efficient filing systems for both digital and physical documents
Project Coordination & Reporting
Prepare timely and accurate data reports for various project stakeholders
Follow up on priority items with managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors
Coordinate client approval processes for contractor submittals
Generate comprehensive reports covering all project areas including design phases from concept through IFC submission
Update and maintain all project spreadsheet logs and tracking systems
Quality Control & Compliance
Conduct periodic data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure accurate and timely processing of reports for head office requirements
Maintain complete controlled copies of all project documentation including drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation
Archive all technical and non-technical documents in compliance with company standards
Team Leadership
Coordinate, supervise, and monitor document control staff activities and deliverables
Provide guidance and assign appropriate responsibilities to document control team members
Ensure functional implementation and maintenance of corporate document control systems and procedures
