Position Summary: Data Center Logistics Technician The Data Center Logistics Technician is responsible for executing assigned tasks and escalating issues during periods of high activity or when problems arise. This role requires the ability to work independently, using process knowledge and sound judgment to complete tasks without direct supervision. Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing incoming and outgoing deliveries (e.g., purchase order receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor activities), maintaining accurate and detailed physical inventory records, and performing inventory audits and data corrections. The technician also supports compliance and certification audits related to data center regulations. Additional duties involve handling material movement such as shipping, receiving, and inventory management in accordance with standard procedures. The role includes secure destruction of data-bearing devices (DBDs) following documented protocols and runbooks. Required Skills: + Break/fix support + Shipping and receiving operations + Ticketing systems + Inventory and logistics management + Data center operations Preferred Qualifications: + Basic understanding of computer applications and software + Previous experience in a data center environment + Technology certifications are a plus Experience Level: + Entry to mid-level, with hands-on experience preferred Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
