The Commercial HVAC Americas SBU PGT and Markets Finance team is responsible for partnering with our PGTs and Vertical markets teams to drive profitable growth through financial leadership.

The Data Center Finance Leader is responsible for Strategic Financial leadership and partnership with the Data Center team. This role is the business partner to the Data Center General Manager, Data Center Solutions Sales leader, and related teams. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative person that is able to gain alignment across multiple business functions and stakeholders. They will serve as an integral part of the Data Center team driving profitable growth in the Data Center vertical. They will develop an in-depth knowledge of the business and use this knowledge to provide financial leadership, investment evaluation and analysis, and providing financial consult to the leadership team.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do: 

Lead alignment on identifying and communicating opportunities and risks within the Data Center business across multiple cross functional teams. Collaborate with the Data Center leadership team to develop appropriate actions. Partner with other finance team members in order to develop and own Data Center financial metric reporting such as bookings and revenue pulses, R&O, Fcst, AOP and LRP cycles. Owns significant contributions to BU reporting cycles such as MOR slides, AOP, LRP and long term strategy development. Partner with Markets finance team members and PGTs to align on Data Center outlooks and targets in a highly matrixed organization. Leads Data Center MOR including preparation of monthly financial results and development of Data Center R&OPartners closely with Data Analytics BU team to steer priorities on insight development as it relates to the Data Center vertical including pipeline visibility, market insights, connecting these insights to bookings and revenue forecasts.  Responsible for creating and owning the data centers shadow P&L and communicating the business’s results to leadership and stakeholders. Guide financial analyst in managing investments and headcount priorities for the data center business. Prepare dashboard reporting to drive insight delivery and backlog reporting in order to triangulate revenue forecasting. 

What you will bring:

Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field (Statistics / Finance / Economics / etc) 7+ years of finance, analytics, or related experience | Statistics or Analytics Experience a plusExperience with financial reporting cycles, such as forecasts, budgets (AOP), and long-range planning (LRP)Advanced Systems knowledge, with preference to Alteryx|Dataiku, Tableau, and OracleConfident independent self-starter individual who curiously seeks out ‘whats next’ when analyzing data and delivering insights. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in order to drive alignment and priority focus across cross functional teamsMature financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skillsAbility to analyze and interpret data and provide succinct themes and trends to team members at all levels of the organization.Collaborative team player with process improvement mind setStrong organization and time management skills; able to handle several assignments at one time while working in a matrix organization.Willingness to learn new processes while enhancing current reporting

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $123,800-164,200 

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
