The purpose of this position is to provide general support and guidance on BIM workflow and processes for internal and external stakeholders for a large prestigious confidential technology client.
This position requires you to be onsite in one of the following: Vernon, Haskell, or Wichita Falls, TX.
**What you will do:**
+ Provide general support and guidance on BIM workflow and processes for internal and external stakeholders, while also managing 2 - 3 direct reports (both BIM/CAD professionals)
+ BIM360 - Coordinate BIM360 work space setup with BIM360 support team; provide access to owner team & AE admin to BIM360; act as owner BIM360 project admin for assigned project(s)
+ Manage project BIM Execution
+ Validate BIM disseminations
+ Review and approve project BIM Execution Plans according to BIM standards
+ Track model changes compared to canonical product models
+ Track product interfaces and escalate if changes are made at project level
+ Review clash detection at milestones
+ Perform QC at design milestones and communicate review comments at pageturn meetings
+ Act as owner BIM stakeholder to attend meetings including but not limited to project kick-off, page turn, AEC onboarding sessions, BIM issue resolutions
+ Coordinate with DCIO CMMS team to review and finalize product CMMS asset template in the model and asset list extraction
+ Handover IFC re-evaluation to CAD/BIM Managed Service
+ Manage record model development if applicable
+ Communicate global BIM program with local projects and AEC teams
+ Hold monthly BIM sync between AE and GC to coordinate model updates - coordinate redline incorporation, record meeting minutes and assign POC for action items

+ Identify areas of needs for better or additional standards & processes
+ Test, evaluate current and new BIM initiatives
+ Participating in business reviews with vendors
Typical Deliverables:
+ Project BIM activity reports
+ BIM Execution Plan review report
+ QA/QC Check reports
+ Data validation & improvement of BIM models & information
+ Standard compliance reports
+ AEC teams’ BIM Assessment
+ Reports on BIM process improvements
+ Implementation & feedback reports on BIM initiatives
+ Data input for business intelligence reports / dashboards
+ Written documentation regarding all meetings and correspondences.
+ Written monthly status reports outlining work that has been performed by Contractor.
+ Written reports, post-mortems, user guides and custom scripts (for internal and external audience)
**What you’ll need**
+ A bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
+ 5 years of demonstrated ability in the CAD/BIM design field
+ Proficiencies with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, BIM 360, and AutoCAD
+ Prior data center experience is helpful but not required
