Position Description 

The Kibali Gold Mine Team is seeking to recruit a DATA BASE AND REPORTING to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities:

Creating and maintaining database standards and policies. Monitoring usage, transaction volumes, response times. Identifying and reporting of all customs issues.  Reconciliation and analysis of all reports from clearing agents and TS; Assists in the management of regulatory requirements on Import – Export; Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on all customs operations. Work in partnership with KGM Finance; Developing and maintaining Import – Export policies and procedures; Ensures that all information, from beginning to end, on a shipment, is reported. Filing and archiving: Ensures that all documents are organized in an effective manner Ensures that standards for environment, hygiene and safety at the mine are adhered to. The incumbent may be asked to perform any other tasks that are not explicitly listed above but which are related to the overall objective of the post or with those of the department of Supply Chain Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards

Qualification and Skills Requirements:

Basic Knowledge of customs and logistics Proven ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail. Understanding of regulations for import clearance of goods Analytical skills and Ensure familiarity with the Business Ability to operate independently, be assertive, and make decisions. Strong communication skills: fluent French and English speaking, writing. Strong relationship and good confidentiality, Have a good knowledge of computer science. Ethical and highest level of moral Courage and attitude Cost driven person Initiative taker and innovative Work well with all kinds of people Remain calm and settled under pressure environment  KGM Focal Point with the logistic partners. Reporting on payment of duties. Identify, assess and reduce the risk associated to customs law. Ensure to comply with DRC customs regulations on everything doing.
