Data Automation Lead
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Data Automation and Scheduling Operations Lead responsible for managing the enterprise job scheduling platform and leading a team to optimize and modernize data automation processes. This role ensures reliability, scalability, and efficiency of scheduled jobs and data pipelines, while driving migration to cloud-based solutions and supporting the transition from batch to real-time data operations. - Lead and mentor a team of engineers and analysts focused on job scheduling and automation. - Administer and maintain enterprise job scheduling platforms (e.g., UC4, Autosys, Control-M). - Optimize data automation workflows and enforce standards for new processes. - Drive migration of scheduling operations to AWS and modernize using cloud-native tools (e.g., Step Functions, Lambda, EventBridge). - Implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools for scheduling and automation. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. - Design and maintain disaster recovery strategies for job scheduling and automation. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 6+ years in data operations, job scheduling, or automation engineering. - 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role. - Strong experience with enterprise job scheduling platforms (UC4, Control-M, Autosys). - Proficiency in cloud-native automation tools (AWS Step Functions, Lambda, EventBridge). - Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, SQL). - Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, dbt). - Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK stack). - Understanding of disaster recovery principles. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional). - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. - Control-M Administrator or equivalent. - FinOps Certified Practitioner (a plus).
