PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The ideal candidate will work directly with Data Modelers and Data Engineers in creating and optimizing data models to translate complex business data into usable computer systems. The role is expected to support the enhancement of data governance, quality, and accessibility, ultimately empowering our organization to make data-driven decisions and achieve strategic objectives.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Design & Implement data models to support data products design and delivery. Document full data lineage / data mapping rules.       Provide data architecture for analytics and business intelligence.Deliver Data Transformation documentation / pseudocode quality rules documentation.Collaborate with Data Architects and Data Engineers in creating and optimizing data models to translate complex business data into usable computer systems.

 

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES?

Graduated in (Business) Informatics, IT, computer science or a related field.3 + years of experience in data architecture, relational modelling and multidimensional modelling - mostly Kimball modeling.Experience in using data modelling platform such as Power Designer.Experience in leveraging a data dictionary platform such as Atlan or Collibra.Experience in data and business vault modelling is a plus.Experience in Python (nice to have).Proficient in SQL and in using a cloud-based data warehousing platform such as Snowflake.Experience in using data modelling platform such as Power Designer.Experience in leveraging a data dictionary platform such as Atlan or Collibra.Familiarization in master data and reference data concepts. Experience in MDM platform such as SAP-MDG is a plus.Working knowledge of data engineering activities mainly ETL pipeline development.Technical and business documentation writing expertise.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.English and Spanish mandatory.
