Position OverviewThe Data Architect builds and leads enterprise data systems that strengthen research, manufacturing, and supply chain excellence. The role blends architecture, analytics, and compliance to transform data into usable intelligence.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and optimize data architectures supporting pharmaceutical R&D and operations.Develop end-to-end data models, pipelines, and integrations across multiple platforms.Implement governance frameworks ensuring data quality, traceability, and GxP alignment.Partner with technical and business teams to drive data-driven outcomes.Implement and coordinate AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau solutions.Introduce AI, analytics, and automation to streamline decision-making.Maintain documentation and mentor teams on secure, compliant data practices.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.8 - 12 Years of experience in data architecture within pharma, biotech, or healthcare.Demonstrated proficiency in modern data tools such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau.Solid understanding of governance and compliance frameworks (GxP, GDPR, FAIR).Superb communication and analytical problem-solving skills.PreferredExperience in a CDMO or regulated manufacturing setting.Experience using Internet of Things (IoT), digital replicas, or artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) tools for resourceful manufacturing.Current Data Technology PlatformsAWS, Azure: Cloud infrastructure and scalable computingDatabricks, Snowflake: Analytics and data processingSAS, R, Posit: Statistical and data science toolsPower BI, Tableau: Visualization and reportingIoT, Digital Twins: Operational intelligence and optimizationAI/ML Platforms: Predictive and prescriptive analyticsWhy This Role MattersJoin a team using data to develop the future of pharmaceutical innovation!
