Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Data and Analytics Lead to drive the development and execution of our data strategy. This role involves leading a team of data professionals to deliver actionable insights, enhance data infrastructure, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership capabilities with deep technical knowledge in analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into a strategic asset, guiding stakeholders through a data-driven culture, and ensuring scalable, efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy
•\tDefine and execute the organization’s data and analytics strategy in alignment with business goals.
•\tLead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, engineers, and scientists.
•\tCollaborate with C-level executives, department heads, and product owners to define data needs and analytics priorities.

Data Management & Analytics
•\tOversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and BI platforms.
•\tBuild and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to monitor KPIs and business performance.
•\tTranslate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders using storytelling and visualization.

Governance & Quality
•\tEnsure data quality, integrity, privacy, and compliance with data governance policies
•\tEstablish standards for data collection, storage, access, and usage across the organization.
Technology & Innovation
•\tEvaluate and implement tools and technologies for analytics, data integration, and visualization.
•\tStay current on industry trends in AI/ML, data engineering, and emerging analytics techniques.
•\tDrive automation and advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation, recommendation systems).


Desired Experience & Qualifications

Education
•\tBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

Professional Experience
•\t6–10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles.
•\tAt least 2–4 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
•\tProven experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
•\tExperience in leading business system application and database architecture design, influencing technology direction in range of breadth of IT areas

Technical Skills
•\tStrong knowledge of SQL, Python or R.
•\t3-5 years of experience implementing data transformation pipelines using AWS solutions like Amazon Glu, Amazon Redshift, Amazon DMS, Amazon Event Bridge.
•\tExperience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, Airflow).
•\tProficiency with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
•\tUnderstanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture best practices.
•\tFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Soft Skills
•\tExcellent communication and data storytelling skills.
•\tStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
•\tA collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and grow a high-performing team.
