AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analytics / Power Apps / M365 Developer. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and will be in one of our Enterprise Capabilities Centers in South Africa.

The successful candidate will be joining the Data and Analytics team within the Europe region. You will report directly to the Data and Analytics team lead and assist with developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Your primary focus will be building Canvas Power Apps and PowerBI reports according to defined standards, working together with Power Platform Lead to demonstrate the art of the possible and elevate the adoption of Power Platform solutions.
To ensure success as the Power Apps Developer, you should have a strong working knowledge of Power Platform and all the related elements including Canvas Power Apps, Model-Driven Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Portals and Microsoft 365 services.
Responsibilities
We are looking for ambitious, self-motivated Power Apps Developer to work on a variety of tasks and projects. The successful candidate shall be able to work in a team and independently without losing initiative & focus. Areas of work include:
Build Canvas Power Apps and Model-Driven Power Apps to meet requirements of clients and businessDesign & implement Dataverse databases within the Power PlatformBuild data models harnessing PowerBI with insightful visualization layer on topSupport team and organisation in growing capability with Power PlatformIdentify and solve business problems with the Power Platform and low code / no code solutioningUtilize problem-solving skills to understand and troubleshoot established Power Platform solutions as challenges ariseSupport and work together with wider digital organisation such as Data Analysts and Data Scientists to provide holistic digital solutionsCollect and evaluate requirements from users, and stakeholders for solution developmentIllustrate delivery cadence through regular engagement with end stakeholders, both internally and externallyWork with our UX Designer and Power Platform Lead to ensure best in class solution developmentDesign solutions both independently and with UX DesignerBe able to provide estimates for pipeline workBuild Flows & Robotic Process Automations (RPA) within Power AutomateBuild chatbots using Power Virtual AgentBuild external-facing portals using Power PortalsIncorporating feedback into your development processTesting work against the requirements and acceptance criteriaAbout Enterprise Capabilities:
