Position Summary
The Parker Data Analytics Internship located in our Internal Audit Department is focused on the development of new talent by exposing interns to analyzing dynamic and challenging fields using tools such as Power BI and ACL Analytics / Robotics. Interns gain a valuable understanding of real-world projects, tasks, challenges, and opportunities that exist within the industry. Students are provided with specific, meaningful, and measurable goals.
Essential Functions
The position will expose interns to various aspects of tax, including but not limited to:
+ Tax compliance
+ Quarterly tax provision reporting
+ Audit support
+ Tax planning support
+ Cash repatriation planning support
+ Mergers, acquisitions, and integration support
+ Departmental administration support
Qualifications
+ Ability to work in-office a minimum of 10 hours per week.
+ Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in the United States (pursuing a master’s degree preferred).
+ Completed courses in areas such as modeling, data analytics, statistics and forecasting, computer programing; or other relevant courses strongly preferred.
+ Prior experience in data analytics may be considered in lieu of coursework.
+ Experience with Power BI and ACL Analytics / Robotics preferred.
+ Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with others and be on a participative team.

+ The hired intern must be available to physically work at a Parker location in the Greater Cleveland area for the entire school year.
