Data Analytics Developer

Check your Zone here before applying. Role Description We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Developer to join our growing analytics and operations team. This IC3-level role will play a critical part in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability, and supporting operational reporting that drives decision-making across GTM teams. This position requires a strong affinity for problem-solving along with deep knowledge of data, data architecture, and analytical tools and approaches. You will partner closely with Data Engineering, Sales Analytics, RevOps, and Enablement to ensure our data infrastructure and reporting workflows run efficiently, scale effectively, and deliver trusted insights. Responsibilities Data Infrastructure & Operations Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines, datamarts, and self-serve platforms using workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and SQL-based transformations, ensuring scalability and accessibility for analysts and dashboards.Develop thoughtful schema designs aligned with business needs to promote consistency, maintainability, and performance across systems.Ensure data quality and reliability by monitoring pipeline health, troubleshooting failures, implementing fixes, and maintaining timeliness of key reporting.Maintain strong data governance through up-to-date documentation, testing protocols, and compliance standards for critical datasets (e.g., pipeline, forecast, SFDC, compensation).Integrate and maintain Go-to-Market (GTM) systems data, ensuring comprehensive coverage, high integrity, and seamless cross-platform integration.Implement and scale GTM analytics processes (e.g., daily reporting, NLP models) and support adoption of platforms like UnitQ to continuously monitor and leverage customer feedback data. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales Ops, RevOps, and Enablement teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.Participate in agile rituals (standups, retros) and help prioritize fixes or improvements in response to user feedback or system changes.Partner with other analysts and engineers to learn best practices and improve overall team velocity and data maturity.Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure the data meets end-user needs and reflects business logic accurately. Requirements 6-8 years of experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data analyst, analytics engineer, data ops, business intelligence)Expertise in SQL and working with modern data warehouses (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake)Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Databricks Workflows)Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, schema design, and data governanceProficiency with scripting languages such as Python, good code management practices, and version control systems (e.g. git)Familiarity with CRM or GTM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Forma)Ability to tackle complex technical problems with little direction, willing to quickly learn and understand new technologiesStrong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindsetDesire to grow into a strategic data partner and own end-to-end workflowsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Superset)Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills CompensationUS Zone 1 This role is not available in Zone 1US Zone 2$123,900—$167,700 USDUS Zone 3$110,200—$149,000 USD The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role, subject to change. Please note, OTE are for sales roles only. Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
