Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Data Analytics and Governance Lead to join their growing team. Responsibilities include leading the enablement, adoption, and governance of the enterprise data platform by partnering with business teams to deliver impactful insights, drive metric alignment, and ensure data readiness for advanced analytics and AI applications. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Synapse pipelines (formerly ADF) and Power BI Service configuration, including development and lifecycle management of semantic models, are highly required. On a daily basis, this person will be to translating business questions into data products and reports, troubleshooting and improving existing reports or data issues, and driven to establish consistency and data fluency across the organization. This position is remote position with an hourly payrate of $70-$80/hour. Skills and Requirements 3–6+ years of experience working with enterprise data platforms, reporting tools, or business intelligence systems Expertise with Microsoft Azure Synapse pipelines and Power BI Service configuration, including building and maintaining Power BI semantic models Demonstrated ability to define KPIs and build dashboards for operational and strategic insights Adept at using SQL for querying and manipulating structured datasets Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality management concepts Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business analytics, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience Understanding of how data platforms support AI/ML applications; exposure to Azure AI Foundry/Azure ML Experience in financial services, lending, or regulated industries Experience working in an Agile or data product management environment Microsoft Fabric readiness/experience (planning or migration exposure)
