Job Description We are hands-on Lead Data Analyst to support AI-driven forecasting initiatives within their finance domain. They will be supporting our platform, Mosaic which delivers a systemized capability for the complete planning & forecasting process by each customer, product, and business unit across the sector, as well as reporting analytics for actuals. They will use Synapse Analytics to integrates big data and data warehousing to query structured and unstructured data as well Teradata to handle enterprise-level data warehousing with SQL-based transformations. Involved in stakeholder management, guiding them with data driven insights. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, with the ability to engage business partners and uncover their true needs—even when those needs aren’t clearly articulated. The ideal candidate will immerse themselves in data, relentlessly pursuing data quality and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. They will translate complex, sometimes ambiguous business concepts into clear, actionable business requirements, and then convert those into precise technical specifications for data engineering teams. Collaboration is key: you’ll work in close partnership with data engineers, navigating iterative development cycles and ensuring requirements are refined and delivered through ongoing, hands-on communication. Skills and Requirements • Ability to translate complex business requests into technical requirements • Advanced/Strong SQL skills for extracting, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources. • Appetite for learning and applying functional knowledge in finance and forecasting. • Strong English communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and business users. • Experience in categorizing and scaling solutions across new and existing markets. • Experience working with cloud databases including Synapse, Teradata, DBSQL or Snowflake or similar database technologies • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
