**The Opportunity:**
The IMS/Metrics Data Analyst will assist the Production PAPM with schedule management and metrics analysis with a focus on utilizing data science expertise and visualization software to analyze shipyard production schedules.
This opportunity is located in our Washington D.C. office and will be hybrid, with 3 days required in office and 2 days of telework.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide support to Production PAPM to evaluate most recent IMS submission from Industry.
+ Maintaining the Tableau dashboard overall is central to this monthly work
+ The emphasis is also on the data analysis and software development side of things in VBA, R, etc.
+ Participate in various meetings in support of the Production PAPM.
+ Monitor and track various Earned Value Management metrics.
+ Meet with Industry schedule team to sync on IMS updates.
+ Provide deliverables for Production Drumbeats, Tri-Annual Execution Reports (TER), Program Management Reviews (PMR), etc.
+ Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions for schedule-related issues.
+ Keep management informed of key issues and changes that may impact cost or schedule.
+ Assist the PAPMs in managing their overall program schedule and milestones.
+ Maintain and update the Overall Program Schedule slide as required for the Monthly RSNF Report.
+ Create visual products as part of the data analysis process, such as the Trade-Level analysis slides, etc.
+ Provide scheduling assistance and visual products for other functional areas as required.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related degree
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
+ Experience with data science/analysis and data visualization
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Primavera, Tableau or other visualization software
+ Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules and Earned Value Management
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
+ Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
_Desired:_
+ GPA of 3.0 or above
+ Previous related experience, academic, internship, etc.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$45,900 - $91,900
