Our major Oil & Gas (O&G) client is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their team in Spring, TX for a 1-year assignment.
Main Functions: Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to derive insights and support decision-making. May consolidate and present data in charts, graphs, or tables for reporting purposes. Focused on improving data quality and ensuring consistency across various sources. Minimal work direction needed—must be a highly skilled, independent professional. Recognized expert in the field, possibly holding professional certifications. Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report generation & data analysis experience. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation. Python (Pandas) for data cleaning, automation, and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). API-driven solutions experience, working with multiple data sources. Experience handling large-scale data (millions of rows in a table). ETL & Data Integration experience with a preference for backend data processing
