WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Data Analyst Associate, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset – from day one, you’ll be delivering live projects for our teams. You will gain exposure and knowledge of our standard analytics approaches as well as have the opportunity to work on ad hoc analytics projects, alongside more senior members of the team:
Seeing the analytics end-to-end, from discussion of the analytics specification, to the arrival of data, to carrying out the analysis and providing it to the research teams. Learning and understanding more about statistical techniques, assessing where they can be applied and where they can’t, developing data manipulation skills and non structured data analysis skills. Providing advice to client service teams. As your knowledge grows you will give guidance to research teams on the appropriate approach to use, and often explain this approach to them. The opportunity to improve the status quo. We are always looking at way we can do things better – more efficiently, more transparently, with different outputs. Your opinion will be welcome. You will also have the opportunity to work on R&D to support our offer.WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
You will collaborate with different team members to develop and grow your analysis skills, alongside developing knowledge of the way the market research industry works.
You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics. You’ll learn through webinars, seminars and specialist workshops. All of this is relevant and useful knowledge for live as an analyst in a research firm.
The training programme will cover all the core skills needed to be a successful researcher, providing you with a full understanding of the project lifecycle, from planning a project to delivering the final presentation – including the role that analytics plays in this.
We’ll also provide you with dedicated training designed to achieve the industry recognised Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate accreditation (optional).
We have a flexible working culture; offering support to our colleagues and celebrating our successes is important to us.
