Bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, demonstrating technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. About the role :
The objective of the role is to ensure that
all incident data is accurate and up to date
all relevant HSE&C KPIs are reported accurately and on time
any trends or issues of note from the data are highlighted and country HSE&C managers are aware
information is reported consistently and aligned with the internal busines reporting, information packs are clear, concise and standard
insight is made available to help the countries manage their risks and reduce incidents
Provide visible safety leadership in accordance with bp safety leadership principles, lifesaving rules and
process safety fundamentals to model desired safety behaviours.
What you will deliver :
Collect, organise and analyse health and safety data from various sources.
· Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks in the data and communicate findings to the HSE&C team.
· Develop and maintain databases to track and monitor health and safety performance metrics
· Support with recording relevant learning in shared learning systems, incorporate into local activities,
specifications/ practices/ procedures and raise high priority lessons
· Support performance management through implementation, measurement, and analysis of relevant
KPI’s to drive continuous improvement
· Prepare reports and presentations on health and safety data analysis for management and regulatory requirements.
What you would need :
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in data analysis, preferably in a health and safety or related fields
Excellent communication and social skills, across all organization levels, with the strength to work flexibly
The ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities with minimal supervision o
The ability to rapidly learn and assess business priorities, providing analysis & insight to accompany data
Self-motivated, performance driven, Initiative to act and resolve unexpected problems
Planning and coordination skills aligned with development of interpersonal skills across a variety of countries/ nationalities
Proactive and looking to improve
When entrusted with confidential information, always handle it with utmost duty of care and tact
Proficient with the MS Office Suite and have excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerBI, Tableau & SQL
You will work with :
The role is based in Pune where there are no other HSE&C team members are based
You will be part of the M&C Europe Central HSE&C team
You will work closely with the HSE&C Managers in each M&C European country and the Central Team
