Data Analyst
Position Description:

Job Description

• Perform data entry tasks – Entering the catalogue numbers and associated deadlines/dates with potential amendments to be entered on ad-hoc basis
• Entry of Change Request (CR) for the Master Settlement Timetable with revisions as required and for Entity 61 (BMUs)
• Perform checks on the uploaded data sets and ensure all records are present
• Pre-publication checks (initial 2 publishes per month) – creating list of CRs attached to the catalogue number and their status
• Pre-publication checking of any common entities to ensure IM Serve have entered consistent data into MDD
• Post publication checks that transfers to DAH/Data Store successful
• Provision of audit trail data to Internal/External Auditors
• Perform a one-off period of enhanced support to client to enter other change requests around September-October 2025 to catch up any changes occurring during the change freeze
• An annual manual activity to enter some catalogues with amendments on ad-hoc basis
• An annual file upload of the Master Settlement Timetable
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities with the ability to support multiple work streams and drive assimilation of new techniques and solutions


For External Candidate: Fresh Graduate or with minimum 1-2 years of work experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology related field
• Programming languages such as ServiceNow and Salesforce is an advantage
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with data cleaning, visualization, and reporting
• Relevant experience in working with foreign subsidiaries and in foreign countries (specifically UK)
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English and have experience facilitating client calls and meetings
• Action-oriented and has the ability to assume ownership of requests/issues/escalations and deliver effective resolutions to customers
• Customer-oriented (know your customers well; add value with a level of urgency)
• Team player, resourceful, flexible and can work well under pressure
• Fast-learner and has excellent multi-tasking skills
• Must have proven record of making process improvements
• Can manage shared mailbox effectively
• Proficiency to follow and write process documentation
• Willingness to work mid-shift
