The Data Analyst plays a vital role in supporting SEARHC’s healthcare operations by delivering insightful analyses and reports. This position is responsible for producing standard and ad hoc reports, and helping to improve both operational performance and quality outcomes. The analyst will respond to leadership’s data requests and contribute to informed decision-making across the organization.Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Prepare and submit essential regulatory and quality improvement data reports for a range of stakeholders, including CMS, DNV, IHS, State of Alaska, HRSA, and SEARHC senior management.Conduct data analyses related to clinical, quality, and service delivery to inform operational and strategic initiatives.Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards that measure performance and quality.Support the rollout and advancement of new database and data warehouse solutions as needed.Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.EducationA bachelor’s degree in data analytics, health informatics, health information management, public health, or a related field is required. Equivalent progressively responsible professional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or R is preferred.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesIntermediate to advanced skills in spreadsheet and database applications.Expertise in cleaning, filtering, and interpreting complex datasets.Ability to analyze data using statistical techniques.Understanding of healthcare operations is an asset.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.Required Certifications:
