Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.

This position requires strong analytical capabilities, technical curiosity, and a willingness to engage directly with clients and stakeholders. You will be central to gathering requirements, analyzing source systems, designing end-to-end BI solutions, and ensuring that decision-makers have access to accurate, timely, and meaningful information.

Job Location: This position is fully remote within the United States.

What you’ll be doing:

Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, refine, and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements

Perform deep data profiling and analysis across fragmented legacy systems to support modernization and consolidation

Analyze and document report dependencies, source-to-target mappings, and data structures for reusability in a modern data architecture

Collaborate with data engineers and architects to support the migration of legacy reports to a cloud-based data mart

Contribute to the design and validation of modular BI solutions, including reusable datasets and standardized reporting templates

Translate business needs into technical requirements for ETL pipelines, data modeling, and visualization outputs

Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including backlog grooming, test plan creation, and product review

Conduct data validation, QA testing, and ongoing support for new reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and value

Help guide end users toward self-service analytics capabilities and adoption of modern BI tools

Work with Project Manager, Data/Solution Architect and Development team to plan and manage Agile Sprints for product delivery.

Confluence/Jira/SharePoint

What you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

3–5 years of experience performing data analysis and supporting BI/reporting solutions across large-scale environments

US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) preferred.

Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust Clearance due to Government Contract.

What we’d like you to have:

Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and transforming complex datasets from relational and/or cloud-based systems

Hands-on experience documenting source-to-target mappings, mockups, and technical reporting specs

Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for building and validating reporting requirements

Familiarity with data mart design, modular reporting strategies, and semantic layer development

Knowledge of ETL and data pipeline processes, including how analysts support end-to-end reporting workflows

Experience consolidating or redesigning legacy reporting systems for improved maintainability and usability

Ability to identify report redundancies and define strategies to reduce technical debt in legacy analytics ecosystems

Strong understanding of data storytelling, HCD principles, and accessibility in visual communication

Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to iterative product development cycles

Familiarity with the role of AI/ML models in analytics pipelines and the use of automation tools to support reporting workflows and SDLC best practices

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$73,722.00 - $125,327.00
