Your New Role

The Business Operations & Strategy team within Media Technology & Operations (MT&O) is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. Within the MT&O organization, our team provides data analysis to help guide strategic decision-making and clear communication with key internal and external stakeholders around the business.  This individual will play a key role in driving operational excellence, preparing and communicating key strategic and operational analytics and supporting ongoing operations.

Your Role Accountabilities

Understand the overall objective and business needs pertaining to data requests. Identify and secure appropriate sources for information. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to summarize key insights. Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.  Ensure data integrity and security in all processes.

Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness

Data Analysis: Use statistical methods and software tools to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights

Reporting and Communication: Skilled at creating clear, insightful reports  and visualizations, and effectively communicating findings and complex data to non-technical stakeholders

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights

Data Management: Maintaining databases and ETL tools while ensuring data integrity and security

Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis

Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting

Problem-Solving: Identify and address data-related issues and challenges

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field required.  Master’s Degree preferred

3 years of experience in a large global organization (Media, Technology or similar industry experience)

Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and critical problem-solving ability

Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and assess and synthesize complex data and communicate the 'So What' for technical & non-technical leadership and stakeholder teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization, with both internal and external partners

Strong command of SQL and Python, particularly for data querying and building ETL transformations, familiarity with AWS is a plus

Advanced proficiency in PowerBI (Tableau or Qlik are a plus); proven experience in defying key metrics and building dashboards

Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, with strong expertise in formulas, formatting, pivot tables, analytical modeling techniques

Skilled in creating effective PowerPower slides, adjusting the level of detail based on the audience

Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence and engage others across various functional domains to bridge gaps, manage risk and accelerate analysis completion

Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate teams to achieve objectives

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
