This role partners closely with actuarial and finance teams to support risk analysis, trend forecasting, and strategic planning. A strong foundation in data modeling, regulatory compliance, and financial/insurance domain knowledge is key to success. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with actuarial and financial stakeholders to define data needs and translate them into efficient models and reporting datasetsBuild and validate gold-layer data models that support business intelligence, risk modeling, and financial forecastingPrepare and cleanse data from diverse sources using Python, PySpark, and SQL to ensure quality and consistencyDocument data definitions, data dictionaries, and model logic while supporting data governance efforts (lineage, privacy, cataloging)Apply domain expertise to clarify insurance/finance concepts (e.g., claims, policies, accounting metrics) and ensure insights are actionableSupport privacy and compliance protocols when handling PII and financial data Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field3–5 years of experience in a data analysis role, with exposure to finance or insurance environmentsSkilled in SQL, Python, PySpark, and familiar with Databricks and Azure Data LakeExperience working with ETL pipelines, Power BI, and data governance tools (e.g., Purview)Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights Benefits and Perks$70,000–$85,000 per year based on experience and skillsComprehensive Health, Dental, and Life Insurance401(k) with employer match and PTOProfessional development opportunities Your New Organization
