GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The EHS Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) data to support compliance, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making. This role standardizes and automates EHS dashboards and reporting tools, enabling data-driven insights that enhance workplace safety and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Data Collection & Analysis
Gather, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources. Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in EHS data. Maintain and enhance systems and databases to improve data quality and accessibility.Dashboard Development & Reporting
Design, develop, and maintain standardized dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Monitor EHS metrics (e.g., TRIR, near-miss reports, training completion) and provide regular updates to leadership. Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across business units.Insight Communication & Strategy Support
Translate technical data into actionable insights for EHS and cross-functional teams. Present findings in a clear, concise, and non-technical manner to a variety of audiences. Support enterprise initiatives by aligning data insights with strategic safety goals.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics.
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
Licenses/Certifications: Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate or the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
In lieu of education 9+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Database management: knowledge of how to query and retrieve data using SQL Some proficiency in programming languages Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BIPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics.
Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in data querying. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
Starting pay for the position is between $75,450 - $113,250.
