To provide film for radiographers and operate darkroom process equipment to develop exposed film for evaluation.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Film OrdersObjective: to accurately fill film orders requested by radiographers.
Essential Job Functions:
Reviews film orders, including size, type and number of cassettes.Loads film into cassettes; puts cassettes in pass box when completed; unloads cassettes.Cuts and tapes special film.Maintains film inventory records; orders film or notifies supervisor to order film.Maintains film cassettes; replaces or repairs worn cassettes. (LSBO, TBO only)Darkroom Processing
Objective: to process film and maintain proper chemistry in processor.
Essential Job Functions:
Tests chemical replenishment rates, and water and/or chemical temperatures to assure compliance with specifications; accurately records results.Processes test film to assure proper operation and processing time of industrial processor.Performs minor cleaning of processor. (LSBO, TBO only)Removes jammed film from processor as needed.Monitors darkroom temperature levels.Safety
