**Job Description** The Pasteurizer is responsible for ensuring that all know pathogens are pasteurized and product is homogenized. + Monitor production processes and follow all SOPs for batching and processing. + Prepare and maintain accurate, legible paperwork and documentation. + Monitor fats, solids, allergens, cryoscope readings, and other product specifications. + Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate equipment and processing issues. + Verify production charts, including cut-in/cut-out temps and recording temperatures. + Perform sanitation duties, including CIP and manual cleaning. + Operate equipment at recommended speeds and report mechanical or operational issues. + Work efficiently to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. + Communicate with other departments and management regarding any production concerns. + Analyze process and equipment data to support quality and continuous improvement. + Follow GMPs and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area. + Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use, confined space, chemical handling, and fall protection. + Ensure food safety and quality standards are met; report issues immediately. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Requirements** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + 1 year of experience preferred; food/beverage industry experience a plus. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for most of the shift. + Able to lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead. + Must work in a wet environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicals. + Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. + Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Must pass all pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
