Job specification:
Perform general cleaning and tidying of the home, including dusting all surfaces, vacuuming carpets and rugs, sweeping and mopping hard floors, and cleaning windows and mirrors Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and restock toiletries as needed Make beds daily and change bed linens regularly, ensuring all bedding is clean, fresh, and properly maintained Manage household laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away clothes and linens in an organized manner Organise and maintain cleanliness of closets, cupboards, and storage areas to keep the home clutter-free Feed the family dog and take the dog for daily walks (shared care with family) Occasional school pick-up may be required Assist with basic meal preparation, focusing on making snacks and light meals for the children Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the family when stock is low or items need replacing
Candidate specification:
Experienced housekeeper with a strong track record of working independently in households, comfortable managing all aspects of household upkeep Confident and efficient in managing own workload, prioritising daily tasks, and organising workflow to maintain a consistently high standard without needing constant supervision Proactive and self-motivated, able to anticipate household needs and take initiative to complete tasks promptly and thoroughly Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to the evolving demands of the household environment Warm and friendly with a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward work, bringing energy and a genuine willingness to contribute each day Professional and respectful, maintaining clear boundaries while building a good rapport with family members Child friendly and happy to be around the family and interact Bubbly, friendly and supportive of the family Experience cleaning marble floors
