A family located in Sloane Square (Chelsea) is looking for an engaging and passionate nanny to support their two school-aged children with after-school activities and studies. There are also two older children (aged 16 and 14), so the successful candidate must be comfortable working in a busy household and have a flexible, can-do attitude.
You’ll be responsible for the daily care of the children, helping with homework and engaging them in fun and educational activities. The family are looking for the nanny to create an enjoyable and fun environment that promotes learning and growth. The family travel during most school holidays and do not require the nanny to travel with them. During term time, the role will primarily involve working in the afternoon. However, while the family are often away during school holidays, they are looking for a nanny who can be flexible and available to support when they are not.
Job specification:
School pick up’s – walking distance Assisting with homework, school projects, and exam preparation Create engaging and age-appropriate learning activities tailored to the children’s curriculum and interests Support the development of good study habits and organisational skills Encourage reading, creative thinking, and curiosity through structured and unstructured play Support after-school activities by taking the girls to activities/playdates Occasionally assist with older siblings (aged 14 and 16) if needed Preparing fresh meals for the children Undertaking some home PA duties – running errands etc
Candidate specification:
A strong level of English is required and good communication skills Must be happy to work in a home with pets as the family has two cats Someone who is firm but fair, engaging and passionate about working with children Someone who is confident supporting the girls with their studies, with strong skills in both Maths and English Someone who is flexible, forward thinking and confident working in a busy household
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
