The ISG category manager develops and drives ISG category strategy, product assortment, and optimizes pricing to identify growth opportunities and maximize profitability across our server, storage and solutions product lines.

 
Your responsibilities:

SME on the ISG product portfolio and market specifics for the DACH territoryConduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscapeStrong alignment with territory /market leadership on priorities and focus areas across all customer segmentsCreate, own and communicate a strong quarterly plan with product selections, pricing strategy (including PFV), promotional and campaign roadmapsCollaboration with the sales teams and enabling them with all category tools and levers, including market intelligenceIdentify top-selling configurations for servers, storage and solutions in the marketsPrepare quarterly sales-in/sales-out planning in cooperation with the distribution and channel team Prepare an accurate portfolio forecast and transition planning, and provide the forecast to the EMEA category to ensure seamless supplyAlign with marketing on efficient marketing campaigns, manage MDFs and ensure good marketing presence to through distributionProvide feedback to EMEA category managers on market specifics and articulate needsConstantly monitor results and propose corrective actions if needed

 

Position Requirements:

5+ years of product and/or business management experience with technology products, ideally from ISGStrong understanding of channel management or channel-based sales modelsAnalytical skills, experience with financial management and P&L, creating business plansProfessional fluency in EnglishExcellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, ability to build alliancesProblem-solving mindsetThe role requires travel (40%).
