D365 Functional Analyst
Description As the ERP Functional Analyst with our client, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a progressive and fast-paced group of business and Information Technology professionals. This position is based in our Calgary office. This position will provide functional oversight and guidance on ERP projects and support activities in at least two areas of Finance, Supply Chain and Enterprise Asset Management. This individual will work with business leaders and end-users to get aligned on business requirements and the proposed IT solutions. As a member of an IT Support Team, the D365 Functional Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the IT solution. Key Responsibilities • Assist and/ or lead troubleshooting efforts as incidents occur • Evaluate Business Enhancement Requests for validity and fit with environment • Contribute to the configuration of Dynamics 365 F&O in regard to ongoing ERP support and enhancement. • Gather business requirements and translates requirements into IT solutions related to ERP system implementations and support services. • Analyze D365 F&O modules current state (As-Is) setup, identify any gaps and propose future state (To-Be) Support the set-up of application integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and third-party applications and in-house applications. • Participate as a gatekeeper for the company to make sure the 3rd party Support Service are applying best practices and industry standards (including Microsoft standards) • Provide day-to-day user support for all assigned Dynamics 365 F&O modules • Ability to manage D365 upgrades • Create and modify the Regression suite automation tool (RSAT) scripts • Creating user and functional documentation • Create test plans, test cases, and perform functional testing • Consult with the business on future D365 Releases for advantage • Participate as required in semi-annual Upgrades and other releases Document Business processes as required Qualifications and Professional Experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience in a medium-sized business environment in the energy or utilities industry • Proven knowledge and experience in 365 F&O experience Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Enterprise Asset Management. • Knowledge with ServiceNow is a “Nice to Have” • Open to candidates with similar experience in other RP platforms and willing to learn D365. • Experience with full-cycle support services • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus • Knowledge of and experience with documentation of business requirements and writing functional design documents • Experience in configuring/debugging MS Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 F&O • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Customer orientation (e.g. short response times, appropriate communication and continuous information flow, adequate solutions) • Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills • Drive for excellence in own work and cooperation with customers/ colleagues/ employees - Efficient and resilient working style (e.g. priority setting, willingness to work overtime in peaks, absorb pressure) Additional Skills & Qualifications - Customer orientation (e.g. short response times, appropriate communication and continuous information flow, adequate solutions) - Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills - Drive for excellence in own work and cooperation with customers/ colleagues/ employees - Efficient and resilient working style (e.g. priority setting, willingness to work overtime in peaks, absorb pressure) Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
