IT Business Solutions Specialist

 

 

As an IT Business Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling business success by supporting and evolving a portfolio of enterprise and regional applications within a geographically distributed (virtual) team. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, regional and global D&IT teams, and external vendors to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative technology solutions aligned with corporate standards and strategic roadmaps.

In this role, you will contribute to application lifecycle management, solution enhancements, and the rollout of centralized systems, while continuously identifying opportunities to drive efficiency, reuse capabilities, and introduce innovation across the organization.

 

Potision: 

 

It Business Solution Specialist will be responsible for the following process:

 

Business & Capability Enablement

 

Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to existing applications and processes. Identify and promote the reuse of existing enterprise solutions to meet business requirements, maximizing synergies across regions and functions. Support the D&IT demand management process to ensure initiatives are aligned with approved roadmaps and priorities.

 

Solution Delivery & Portfolio Management

 

Manage and support a defined portfolio of D&IT applications, ensuring stability, performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with global and regional teams to localize and deploy centralized systems, including planning, data migration, vendor coordination, and go‑live activities. Share best practices and lessons learned with other regions to accelerate adoption and improve deployment outcomes.

 

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

 

Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management for applications within scope, in line with ITIL and internal D&IT standards. Maintain close communication with Market/Cluster D&IT leadership during critical incidents to ensure appropriate prioritization and business impact management. Ensure business continuity, data integrity, and compliance with relevant legislation and corporate governance requirements.

 

Technology & Innovation

 

Use enterprise low‑code and automation tools to deliver rapid, value‑driven solutions for short‑term or tactical needs. Stay current with evolving enterprise platforms, APIs, and integration capabilities to improve data flow, system interoperability, and user experience. Proactively monitor internal and external technology trends and propose innovative solutions that enhance efficiency or unlock new business capabilities.

 

Governance, Risk & Financial Management

 

Ensure compliance with corporate D&IT policies, standards, project management frameworks, and control requirements (including J‑SOX). Manage application and service budgets responsibly, driving cost optimization and alignment with corporate application standards. Reduce technology risk by enforcing disciplined change control and architectural alignment across the application landscape.

 

Collaboration & Leadership

 

Work effectively within geographically distributed teams, collaborating across functions, regions, and cultures. Support regional programs or projects as assigned, including temporary secondments to program leadership roles when required. Act as a subject matter expert within the function’s technology stack, continuously developing skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements: 

 

Education & Experience

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT or digital role, ideally within a multinational or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of business processes and how technology enables them. Fluency in spoken and written English.

 

Technical & Functional Skills

 

Hands‑on experience or working knowledge in at least two of the following areas:

Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions (Finance and/or Human Capital Management) Robotic Process Automation (e.g., UiPath) Agentic AI for corporate applications Solution design and architecture, including integrations, scalability, and performance Business requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement
