Introduction to the job
We are looking for experienced H&T (Handling & Transport) engineers who can support the manufacturing process of DUV modules at Linkou to meet the output and quality requirements for these DUV modules. The vision is to achieve a more scalable, competitive and closer-to-the customer manufacturing capability in Taiwan. This job is a new strategic opportunity to contribute to this vision and at the same time gives you the opportunity to learn more about how ASML operates.
You will work in a new team of approximately 40 fte (projected to grow further) of multiple competences. You will work closely together with the manufacturing team (~70 fte) and Supplier Quality Engineers (~10 fte). This team is part of the D&E Field organization with an overarching mission to increase intimacy with our customer and ASML operations (Customer Support, Repair & Re-use, Manufacturing and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement).

Expect that you will spend approximately six months in the Netherlands or Wilton, USA for training purposes in 2026.
Roles and responsibilities
To build the manufacturing capability at New Taipei Campus we need Handling & Transport engineers who will:
Support the DUV module manufacturing organization in identifying manufacturing, handling, and (in-fab) transport issues.Translate high level specifications and operational manufacturing requests into feasible tooling/action specifications (concept design, choice of existing or new dedicated or universal tools, volume constraints, swap paths, inter modular interfaces, factory layout and constraints, costs, cycle time, hardware need dates).Define lifting and transport tools/actions for safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective transport and installation of systems and modules.If needed, make new handling & transport requirements for lifting and transport tools/actions and modules.Perform and guide handling and transport risk analysis sessions.In-depth understanding of the technical product documentation using 3D modeling (NX) and BOM structures to be able to solve local issues. Deliver the functional specification (EPS), test specification (TPS), design specification (EDS), qualification document (TAR), Technical Product documentation (TPD) and BoM of tooling/actions.Communicate and synchronize with engineers & architects from other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, physics, optics).Education and experience
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar education.
Experience
≥3 years of experience in the development of large/complex machines/frames.Experience with manufacturing processes and environments.3D modeling experience, preferably Siemens NX and Team Center.Mechanics skills: static design forces/strength/stability/kinematic constraints, execute and verify hand calculations and FEM calculations.Experience with tooling design and risk assessment.Skills
