Cylinder Maintenace Technician

Pay range: $21.02 - $30.00 hourly (commensurate with experience)

Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our team located in Rice, MN. The Cylinder Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a Plant environment.

What you will be doing:

Performs visual, physical tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are requiredPerforms cylinder conversions including de-valving, valving, stripping and repairing valvesOperates a hydrostatic cylinder tester or ultrasonic cylinder testerMaintains certification requirements to certify the cylinders as being retestedOperates forkliftReceives incoming new cylinders, valves, and cylinder maintenance suppliesRepairs cylinder neck leaks and safety leaksInspects and scraps defective cylindersPaints cylinders
