Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):

As a Cycle Counter you will perform periodic counts and maintain accurate inventory. Cycle counting helps ensure that the physical inventory balance matches the systematic inventory balance by bin location across the warehouse. 

 

The primary product lines you’ll oversee are durable medical goods ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and respiratory products. These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you’ll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People.
 

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

Accurately count assigned cycle, blocked bin and empty bin countsBecome familiar with products and unit of measure distinctionsAssist in maintaining product to bin integrityReport product and/or bin damageDevelop an attitude and an environment of continuous improvementAssist inventory related Special projectsEnsure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work areaPerform other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

This position will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor. 

 

Education and Experience:

H. S. Diploma or equivalentProficient math skillsBasic computer skills, e.g. PC, MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), RF scannersAble to use material movement equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)SAP or Warehouse Management System experienceAnalytic and proficient with numbers, strong math skills

 

Your Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbsPerforms activities in a warehouse environment. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides the following pay scale for this position. The salary range for this role is from $20.93 to $23.95 per year. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, and education, as well as the company’s requirements. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible under the company’s policies.
