Our program focuses on front end design and development as well as transitioning systems through integration and test to production. You will be working across other disciplines to include system architecture and design, infrastructure and platform, software development and testing and integration on an agile program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assessing and creating high levels of cybersecurity attributes and will be involved in all stages of the software lifecycle. **What You Will Do:** + Assist with monitoring security alerts and analyzing potential threats. + Support vulnerability assessments and patch management activities. + Help with documenting security procedures, incident reports, and compliance tasks. + Participate in security audits, risk assessments, or awareness training. + Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. + This position requires exclusive onsite presence. **What You Will Learn:** + Collaborate with a dynamic group of engineers from a variety of disciplines + Real world engineering experience will complement your education **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Extracurricular involvement in school groups/clubs and/or the community + 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher + Security-related certifications in progress (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar). + Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). + Understanding of basic cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001). + Strong communication skills including effective written, verbal, and listening skills + Proven strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment + Security+ certification or training. + Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems. + Experience with cybersecurity concepts such as threats, vulnerabilities, access controls, security best practices, log analysis, and troubleshooting security issues. + Experience with C++, C, Java, Python, Ada or related tools/languages. **Learn More and Apply Now!** Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
