Contract Position **Job Description:** Cyber Hygiene Strategy & Implementation: + Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity hygiene processes, policies, and procedures across the organization. This includes secure configuration management, patching, vulnerability management, and end-to-end risk mitigation. + Security Architecture & Design: Partner with engineering teams to design and implement secure infrastructure, ensuring all components adhere to best practices in cybersecurity hygiene. + Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and remediation to reporting. Ensure timely and effective patching of critical vulnerabilities across systems and platforms. + Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to cybersecurity hygiene. Conduct regular audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements. + Training & Awareness: Advocate for and educate teams across the bank on cyber hygiene best practices to foster a strong security culture. Lead training sessions and provide resources to ensure teams are equipped with the knowledge needed to maintain secure systems. + Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continually assess and refine the cyber hygiene posture, implementing lessons learned and staying up to date with emerging threats and best practices. + Metrics & Reporting: Develop and deliver detailed reports on the status of cyber hygiene initiatives, risk levels, and compliance with organizational standards, contributing to management-level decision-making. **Requirements** **:** + Proven experience (5+ years) in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cybersecurity hygiene, vulnerability management, and configuration management. + .In-depth knowledge of network security, system security, and vulnerability management frameworks. + Strong experience with tools and platforms for patch management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation (e.g., Tanium, Tenable, Prisma, etc.). + Hands-on experience with cloud security (Azure, GCP) and on-premises security controls. + Expertise in system hardening, secure configuration management, and automation. **Preferred Qualifications** **:** + Detail-Oriented: Ability to pay close attention to detail and identify subtle vulnerabilities that might otherwise be overlooked. + Team-Oriented: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT, and security experts. + Proactive: A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and take preventive measures to enhance application security. + Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with a strong ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
