Cybersecurity Engineer | Directory Services - Entra ID (Azure AD) - Remote
**Position Purpose:** We are seeking an Engineer I to join our Directory Services team, responsible for supporting Active Directory (AD), Entra ID (Azure AD), Quest tools, and Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS). This entry-level role provides an opportunity to learn, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise directory services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Active Directory, authentication protocols, and cloud-based identity solutions and is eager to grow in identity and access management (IAM). This role will focus on directory administration, user provisioning, access controls, and incident resolution. **Required Qualifications:** + 1+ years of experience working with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD). + knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, and authentication mechanisms. + Familiarity with Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting. + Exposure to Quest ARS, GPOAdmin, or Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS) is a plus. + Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for directory-related issues. + Good communication and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with IAM concepts, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity synchronization. + Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and GCDS troubleshooting. + Basic understanding of cloud identity solutions like Entra ID or Google Cloud IAM. + Ability to automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or Python. **Key Responsibilities:** + 100% Deliver Execution & Problem Solving - Troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated incidents Investigate and recommend corrective actions related to incidents Collaborate with Enterprise Technology to configure and integrate cybersecurity systems and services that mitigate risk Design, build, configure, maintain and monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management **Direct Manager/Direct Reports:** + This Position typically reports to Manager or Sr. Manager + This Position has 0 Direct Reports **Travel Requirements:** + No travel required. **Physical Requirements:** + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
