Cyber Threat Intelligence Modeller

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Cyber Analytics team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Cyber Analytics team currently consists of a diverse group comprising actuaries, threat intelligence analysts and cat modellers in London. We are a truly global team working on large multinational clients, collaborating closely with our broking and analytical colleagues in several regions. The area of cyber risk is an emerging domain for modelling, presenting a unique opportunity to add significant value to our clients while fostering creativity and innovation. Our team thrives on collaboration and has naturally expanded over the years.

What can you expect:

The role of a Cyber Threat Intelligence analyst at GC is to support the cyber analytics and broking team, clients and markets with intelligence-driven insights by collecting, analysing and monitoring the cyber threat landscape, cyber trends, threat actors activities, cyber vulnerabilities and other relevant intelligence.Additionally, the Cyber Threat Intelligence analyst will have the opportunity to collaborate with other threat intelligence experts within Marsh McLennan, work with third party vendors, challenge their assumptions, research and deduction and be a core part in shaping and building GC's view of risk.This role aims to identify, assess, and communicate cyber threats, malicious and non-malicious, attack vectors, attack surface, techniques deployed, prevention and mitigation available, to help (re)insurers understand the cyber risk as well as its accumulation potential and how the cyber (re)insurance industry can tackle it.

We will count on you to:

Collect and analyse cyber threat data from multiple sources.Produce actionable intelligence reports for internal stakeholders.Monitor emerging threats and trends in the cyber landscape.Distribute relevant intelligence to partners and leadership.Support cyber catastrophe and actuarial modelling functions.Support thought leadership initiatives.

What you need to have:

Substantial experience within cyber threat analysis or intelligence (this can be from within the military/law enforcement/digital terrorism /cyber security firm etc. space).Be able to operate at an expert level within the field.Strong analytical and research skills.Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
