**Cyber Security Supervisor - Plant Vogtle 3&4**
Southern Nuclear Operating Company's Plant Vogtle 3&4 Cyber Security group is seeking a high performing individual with technical and leadership skills to support operation of the latest generation nuclear power station. This position will be located at Southern Nuclear Company's Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, Georgia, home of the newest operating nuclear reactors in the U.S and the largest generator of clean energy in the country.
**JOB SUMMARY**
This position provides leadership, oversight, and strategic execution of the site’s Cyber Security Plans under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager. This role is critical in protecting digital systems that support nuclear safety, security and reliability. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate across disciplines, and interface with regulators, all while helping define the gold standard of cybersecurity in nuclear power. This includes execution of procedures, maintaining staff readiness, leading the cyber security incident response team, and supporting external organizations to fulfill their cyber security program responsibilities.
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Supervise and develop a high-performing cyber team responsible for implementing and maintaining the Vogtle 3&4 Cyber Security Program
Lead execution of cyber security operational activities, including:
- System Assessments
- Design Change Reviews
- Work Management
- Cyber Security Incident Response
- Documentation control and configuration management
Coordinate regulatory readiness and serve as site point of contact for NRC inspections, audits, and fleet-level assessments
Translate regulatory requirements (10 CFR 73.54, RG 5.71, NEI 08-09/13-10) into executable procedures, policies, work instructions
Ensure effective implementation of defense-in-depth, access control, monitoring, and boundary protection strategies
Supervisor contractors and vendors supporting cyber activities
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lessons learned from industry events, self-assessments, and emergent threats
Interface with site departments (Physical Security, Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Operations, Licensing, etc) to integrate cyber responsibilities and maintain plant alignment
Support cyber security program training development and delivery
Promote and model a strong nuclear safety culture and alignment with INPO principles
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
-Education
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering (ABET-accredited), or a related technical field.
-Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GICSP) preferred.
-Advanced technical or management degree is preferred.
**Background/Experience**
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or critical infrastructure protection OR 5 years’ experience at a nuclear power plant required.
Experience with cyber programs in regulated industries (nuclear, energy defense, or aviation) strongly preferred
Prior supervisor or team leadership experience preferred
Experience with NRC cyber inspections, NEI guidance implementation, or 10 CFR 73.54 compliance preferred
Familiarity with Westinghouse AP1000 reactor architecture or Emerson Ovation platforms is a plus
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across diverse technical disciplines and lead in a matrixed environment

Highly organized, with proven ability to manage competing priorities in a safety-critical environment

**Other Requirements**
Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to the protected area per NRC regulations
Serve as a Duty Lead on the Engineering Duty team on a rotational basis
Support all outages in various leadership support roles
