Cyber Security Specialist

Airswift is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support a major player in the nuclear energy sector on a long-term assignment.
The Nuclear Projects Specialist/Technician will be responsible for the support of digital systems and digital components upgrades within Robinson Nuclear Plant (RNP). This responsibility includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity industry, company, and site-specific standards, for all newly installed or upgraded digital systems and components by the Nuclear Projects organization. Additionally, this role will support the Nuclear Projects cybersecurity specialist team on an as needed basis with cybersecurity assessments, walkdowns, and other support of newly implemented modifications of digital systems or components.
Responsibilities: Assist in digital updates and modifications using 10 CFR 50.59 guidelines as well as industry, company, and site-specific standards and procedures Collaborate with engineering team(s) to integrate new digital technologies and ensure compatibility with existing plant systems Collaborate with the assigned project team(s) to determine priorities and project requirements to ensure that identified digital equipment will work satisfactorily for the intended project need Collaborate with Digital Process Systems (DPS) personnel to ensure that all industry, company, and site-specific standards and procedures are adhered to before, during, and after installation of digital systems or components Act as the Nuclear Projects group SME for DPS support associated with Nuclear Projects modifications and upgrades Perform Cyber and DPS reviews for Engineering Change (EC) development Provide inputs to budgets and long- range plans Completes non-routine technical projects with minimal oversight with the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces Executes work orders (WOs) and work requests (WRs) through established work management system Assist with implementation and verification of cybersecurity controls for critical digital assets (CDAs) in accordance with regulatory, company, and site-specific cybersecurity standards and procedures Assist with assessments and walkdowns to validate compliance with industry, company, and site-specific cybersecurity standards Assist with cybersecurity assessments and required presentations of assessments associated with new and upgraded digital systems and components Requirements: High School Diploma 5+ years’ experience in DPS/Cyber-related position within a US Commercial Nuclear Plant
Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related technical discipline NRC Cybersecurity Training ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) Nuclear I&C Systems Certification
