HOW A SECURITY SOLUTIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Experience with analytic approaches to analyze large volumes of data from disparate sources to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes against the organizationMust be an expert with data science and AI/ML concepts used for fraud detectionWork within Databricks to develop analytic solutions using Python, SQL, and RMust be able to interpret, visualize, and report on complex data to stakeholders at all levels, and respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders to investigate potential concernsWill be responsible for working across business units to identify, collect, aggregate, and analyze new data sources to advance the team’s mission and reduce the time needed to deliver analytical insightsWill be responsible for highlighting and analyzing gaps in USPS systems and processes, as well as recommending remediation solutions to deter cybersecurity threats and fraudulent activity more effectively

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

Required Experience:

3+ years of cybersecurity experienceExpertise in AI/ML solution development, data science practice, data strategy and governance, and customer and stakeholder engagement – all developed over many years of client workAbility to design AI-powered solutions, integrating large language models, computer vision, and advanced analytics into secure, high-performing environmentsAbility to direct specialized teams comprising of data scientists, data engineers, and business intelligence specialists driving key AI and advanced technology solutions across secure environmentsManages delivery across multiple engagements including business intelligence, technology and tradecraft, financial operations, workforce analytics, cyber, artificial intelligence, risk management, and product development to enhance organizational performance (Python, SQL, Tableau, AWSExperience in:AI/ML Solution ArchitectureData Science and Advanced AnalyticsTechnology Strategy and ImplementationData Strategy and GovernanceMachine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Model Lifecycle Management (MLLM)

Security Clearance Level:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.
