We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Cyber Security Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to utilize strong critical thinking and problem solving skills capable of interfacing verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Lead activities on all Cyber Network Defense (CND) duties across the entire portfolio of network, enclaves, and systems and under the supervision of the Government Information System Security Manager (ISSM) team + Support the management, distribution, tracking and reporting of Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO) to constituent networks, enclaves and systems + Coordinate with the Program Office (PO) on projects to implement required CND services across the Ground Sensor (SN) portfolio of networks, enclaves and systems + Enhance the implementation of Endpoint Security Systems (ESS) deployments across the portfolio of networks, enclaves and systems, identify efficiencies, and work with ISSM team to implement and deploy improvements. + Collaborate with Tier II, MDA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) – Computer Emergency Response Team (CSSP-CERT) for data roll up (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/ESS for Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) compliance + Monitor external CND data sources to maintain enclave situational awareness and track compliance audit findings, incident after-action-reports, and recommendations to ensure appropriate mitigation actions are taken + Provide weekly Cybersecurity status briefings including: CTO statues, ESS Compliance and ACAS scan status to senior leadership + Manage the tactical IA development, implementation, interpretation, certification and accreditation, risk management, and maintenance of detailed IA policies, plans, programs, standards, and criteria ensuring a successful Tactical IA program + Develop CND policies and procedures reflecting applicable laws, policies, procedures and regulations for dissemination to the prime contractors. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + BS in STEM field + 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project + Active Secret Clearance or higher required + IAT Level 3 or IAM Level 2 certification required **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + BS in Information Systems/Assurance + Experience implementing, evaluating, and future planning for DOD secure configuration standards + Ability to articulate current defensive cybersecurity operations tools the DoD utilizes + Experience with operating systems, i.e. Windows/RHEL/Cisco/ active directory/DNS/ACLs/RHEL satellite services in an operational environment + Experience as an ISSM/ISSO/ISSE or cybersecurity analyst working in a DOD environment including Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) + Experience deploying, operating and/or maintaining vulnerability analysis tools, host defensive tools, log correlation/analysis/continuous monitoring, or host configuration querying tools + Experience with host, server, or network administration to include end user support, host/server administration, network administrator, and/or unique capability end point administration + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with developers and engineering teams + Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure + Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements + Ability to work across organizational boundaries + Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels + Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures + Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure + Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts **Security Clearance Requirement:** An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​ This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
