Description Our client is looking for someone that specializes in the following: + 10+ years working as a Cyber Security Engineer working in enterprise (5,000+ endpoints) environment + 2. 7+ years deploying, configuring, optimizing mobile / endpoint management solutions (SSC is looking to leverage Lookout). + - Similar solutions include: Crowdstrike, MS Defender, SentinelOne + 3. Has a valid Secret Clearance The client is actively involved in a Mobile Threat Detection (MTD) initiative as part of its broader cybersecurity and digital modernization efforts. Here's a summary of what's currently happening: Mobile Threat Detection Project Overview Purpose: The MTD project aims to enhance the Government of Canada's ability to detect, analyze, and respond to threats targeting mobile devices used across federal departments. Scope: It includes deploying tools and services that monitor mobile endpoints for malware, phishing, network-based attacks, and other vulnerabilities. The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security also highlights mobile threats as part of its broader National Cyber Threat Assessment 2025–2026, noting the increasing sophistication of cyber threats targeting mobile platforms 3. Key Objectives: - Protect mobile endpoints used by federal employees. - Ensure secure access to government services and data. - Integrate threat intelligence and response capabilities into existing IT operations.
