**Cyber Insider Risk and eDiscovery Specialist: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family** As technology continues to advance so does the threat landscape. Attackers are now using more sophisticated tactics to evade security controls. As a result, VF must also continue to advance its capabilities in threat detection and monitoring systems. We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented, and security-focused professional to join our IT Security & Compliance team. This role bridges cybersecurity operations with legal and compliance support, focusing on Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery, litigation hold, internal investigations and data loss prevention (DLP). **How You Will Make a Difference:** Insider Risk & eDiscovery: + Administer and manage Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, including eDiscovery, Content Search, and Insider Risk Management, ensuring optimal performance and compliance. + Collaborate with Legal, HR, Ethics, and Compliance teams to scope and execute internal investigations, including targeted data searches and preservation, fostering a cohesive approach to compliance. + Implement and maintain litigation holds and eDiscovery holds across Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), ensuring data integrity and compliance. + Perform advanced content searches and export data in response to legal, regulatory, or HR-driven requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness. + Generate detailed reports and analytics on eDiscovery activities, providing insights to senior management and stakeholders. + Provide technical guidance and documentation for eDiscovery workflows and compliance configurations, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders. Compliance: + Monitor and maintain data governance policies, retention labels, and compliance configurations within Microsoft Purview, continuously improving processes to meet evolving standards. + Support incident response efforts by identifying and preserving relevant digital evidence, playing a critical role in the investigation and resolution process. + Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX), staying updated with the latest regulations and best practices. + Program Development: + Provide guidance and support to identify and classify sensitive data, enforce policies, and report on security incidents, ensuring comprehensive oversight and accountability. + Conduct training sessions for staff on eDiscovery tools and compliance best practices, ensuring all team members are proficient in using Microsoft Purview solutions. + Enable solutions that support a successful Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program and Insider Threat detection, and response initiatives as needed. + Roadmap Management: + Stay current with Microsoft 365 compliance roadmap and emerging cybersecurity threats, proactively adapting to new challenges and opportunities. + Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in eDiscovery and compliance processes, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices. **Years of Related Professional Experience:** 3+ years **Position Requirements:** + 3+ years of experience in IT security, compliance, or digital investigations. + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including eDiscovery and legal hold features. + Familiarity with Microsoft 365 data architecture (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams). + Strong understanding of data retention, privacy, and legal hold requirements. + Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals or equivalent are a plus. + Proficiency in digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) methodologies across common enterprise operating systems. + Effective communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment across many disciplines. + Strong relationship skills and collaborative style to enable success across multiple business partners with a focus on building partnerships. + Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Proven experience in data protection, insider threat management, and cybersecurity strategy. + Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation strategies, particularly for open egress vectors and excessive access permissions. **Educational Requirements:** + A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field (preferred); or equivalent work experience. + Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals or equivalent are preferred. Professional security management certifications such as; Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE or other similar credentials are a plus. **Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:** + Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX), staying updated with the latest regulations and best practices. **Hiring Range** **:** $108,000.00 USD - $135,000.00 USD annually **Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
