Work Experience

In the position of Cyber/HMI and Network Technician you will enter an exciting career field where you will assist in the engineering of systems that protect and operate power plant controls. The position requires an individual that possesses understanding of visualization software and engineering principles as well as exhibits project management and communication skills. In this role, you will:


Essential Responsibilities:

Build and modify Data racks to integrate Network hardware, controllers, and other equipment as required enhancing lab testing capabilitiesUnderstand the precautions when dealing with expensive equipment.Follow safety standardsHandle multiple projects / activities.Be accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standardsAbility to read network topology and make changes to schematics and hardware as neededAble to understand specifications of Hardware from spec docsAbility to follow instructions to assemble, setup, configure and test Cyber/HMI/Network hardware.Ability to carry out Customer Witness Test with customer.Support Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of field problemsHandle multiple projects / activities.Be accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards.Provide assistance with quality assurance on projects.Review and interpret customer specifications.Perform hardware selection of system control components for HMI solutions.Travel both domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time, as required.
