CWR-Specialist, Compliance

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join their team.
As a Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the compliance department supporting last mile operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and clear communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Compliance Specialist
Location:  NY, Syracuse
Pay Range: Up to $19.00/hour

What’s the Job?

Review background check and drug test authorization forms for completeness and accuracy.

Obtain missing or corrected documentation from operations managers as needed.

Order background checks and Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) through vendor platforms.

Renew annual background checks and MVRs for contract carriers and their driver/helper employees.

Review and determine pass/fail results based on set compliance criteria.

What’s Needed?

Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Experience accurately inputting and retrieving data from computer systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Availability to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
