**Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)** **Ensure Quality. Uphold Standards. Lead With Expertise.** We’re seeking a **Certified Welding Inspector** who brings technical precision, strong inspection skills, and a commitment to quality. In this role, you’ll be the key authority ensuring weld integrity, code compliance, and production excellence across our operation. **What You’ll Do** + Interpret and evaluate **welding fit‑up, filler metal placement, and inspection results** + **Set up and calibrate testing equipment** for accurate evaluations + Perform **non‑destructive testing (VT, UT, MT)** using established inspection techniques + Identify defects, discontinuities, or errors in welded products + Oversee **welder qualification tests** and assess welder performance + Conduct visual and nondestructive weld inspections for **acceptance or rejection** per applicable codes, procedures, and instructions **What You Bring** + Active **Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)** certification + Hands‑on experience with **welding inspection and NDT** + **Strong ability to perform visual weld inspections** + **Solid understanding of quality inspection practices and blueprint reading** **Preferred Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED + Current **MT and UT certifications** per ASNT‑TC‑1A (or willingness to train toward certification) + Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Competitive pay + Opportunities for professional development and certification growth + A supportive environment focused on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement **Work Environment & Shifts** + **Non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing facility** + **1st Shift:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM + **2nd Shift:** Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–2:30 AM ( **$2.50 shift differential** ) + Both shifts require **rotating Saturday overtime** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
