**Job Title: CWI** **Job Description** As an CWI, you will be responsible for interpreting and evaluating inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. You will need to set up and calibrate testing equipment and use visual inspection techniques, Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to perform non-destructive tests. Additionally, you will oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance. **Responsibilities** + Interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement. + Set up and calibrate all testing equipment. + Use visual inspection techniques (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) for non-destructive tests. + Identify errors or defects in products. + Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance. + Perform visual weld inspections and nondestructive inspections for acceptance or rejection in accordance with applicable codes and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Welding inspection and non-destructive testing experience. + Certified Welding Inspector certification. + Ability to perform visual weld inspections and nondestructive inspections. + Knowledgeable in quality inspection and blueprint interpretation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED. + Current Certification as AWS-CWI. + Certification in MT, UT (in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A) is a plus. + Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay and provide opportunities for certification training. The shift is from Monday to Friday, with rotating overtime on weekends shared among all CWI's, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
